What does it cost?
The bottom line is always important. One goal of the Theological Education Center is to provide the finest of Christian studies for the lowest possible price. Educational costs would include:
Application Fee (attached to application): $50.00
Evaluation of Experiential Learning Fee (as applicable): $150.00
Continuance Fee (as applicable): $100.00
Course Tuition Fee (per course):
Undergraduate Level: $199.00;
Master's Level: $249.00 (excludes the Master of Sacred Literature Degree; see below);
Doctoral Level: $299.00 (excludes the Doctor of Sacred Literature Degree; see below).
Please note that tuition is on a class basis rather than a semester hour basis. Many schools charge as much as $300 or more per semester credit hour. If this were the case and (for example) the Doctor of Ministry were 40 Semester Credit Hours, the cost in many schools would be as much as $12,000. The cost for the same degree at TEC would be $4,187.
Master's Thesis Binding Fee: $100.00
Doctoral Dissertation Binding Fee: $100.00
Graduation Fee: $200.00
Transcript Fee: $15.00 (per official transcript requested)
Tuition payments are made in advance. All assessed fees and tuition payments must be made before degrees are conferred.
MASTER OF SACRED LITERATURE (Thesis Only Degree)
The tuition cost of the Master of Sacred Literature degree is as follows:
1. Proposal Registration: $500.00
2. Chapter One Registration: $500.00
3. Chapter Two Registration: $500.00
4. Chaper Three Registration: $500.00
5. Chapter Four Registration: $500.00
6. Chaper Five Registration: $500.00
Any submission not approved by the Master's Thesis Study Committee may be submitted a second time without additional tuition costs. Any submission requried beyond the second submission will require an additional $100 reader's fee.
The other costs as mentioned above would remain the same.
DOCTOR OF SACRED LITERATURE (Dissertation Only Degree)
The tuition cost of the Doctor of Sacred Literature degree is as follows:
1. Proposal Registration: $500.00
2. Chapter One Registration: $500.00
3. Chapter Two Registration: $500.00
4. Chaper Three Registration: $500.00
5. Chapter Four Registration: $500.00
6. Chaper Five Registration: $500.00
7. Oral Defense Registration: $500.00
Any submission not approved by the Doctoral Dissertation Study Committee may be submitted a second time without additional tuition costs. Any submission requried beyond the second submission will require an additional $100 reader's fee.
The other costs as mentioned above would remain the same.
Books and Supplies: All such materials will be purchased by the student. The Theological Education Center will strive to require textbooks that are both practical and economical.

Refund Policy
Up to four weeks after the Registration activation date, 20% of the original tuition cost is payable;
From the fifth through the eighth week after the Registration activation date, 50% of the original cost is payable;
After eight weeks following the Registration activation date, 100% of the original cost is payable.
"Original tuition costs" is the amount of tuition before any financial aid has been applied. If a student withdraws during the refund period, all financial aid (if any) is forfeited. As is consistent with other educational institutions, tuition charges are not based on student progression in a study program. Therefore, students who do little or no course work are not relieved of their financial obligation.
