CERTIFICATE OF MINISTRY DIPLOMA
Prerequisite: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Purpose: This program is designed to expose the student to a biblically and theologically based approach to church ministry. The specialized training will equip those actively involved in parish work with a foundational level of competence in the practice of ministry.

Purpose: This program is designed to offer foundational courses in biblical and theological studies to women and men who exercise significant volunteer or para-professional ministries and who seek a serious introduction to the theological disciplines. It will provide a base from which students might build further levels of expertise in such areas as church leadership, pastoral care, youth ministry, or religious education.

The course of instruction provides students with resources for and a climate in which they may appropriate an understanding of the Word of God, develop a philosophy of Christian ministry, and cultivate competencies necessary for skillful performance of age-level ministries.
