CERTIFICATE OF MINISTRY DIPLOMA

Prerequisite: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Purpose: This program is designed to expose the student to a biblically and theologically based approach to church ministry. The specialized training will equip those actively involved in parish work with a foundational level of competence in the practice of ministry.

BACHELOR OF DIVINITY DEGREE

Prerequisite: Graduate of Ministry Diploma or 96 transfer credits
TEC Requirements: 32 Semester Credit Hours

Purpose: This program is designed to provide students with a biblical and theological foundation for godly living and fruitful Christian ministry. Students focus on the use and application of divine truth in religious education, worship, preaching, administration, and other areas of practical theology.

ASSOCIATE OF MINISTRY DEGREE

Prerequisite: Certificate of Ministry Diploma or 32 transfer credits
TEC Requirements: 32 Semester Credit Hours

Purpose: This program is designed to offer foundational courses in biblical and theological studies to women and men who exercise significant volunteer or para-professional ministries and who seek a serious introduction to the theological disciplines. It will provide a base from which students might build further levels of expertise in such areas as church leadership, pastoral care, youth ministry, or religious education.

Purpose: This program is designed to equip persons for service in Christian education and related ministries, usually in a local church. The course of instruction provides students with resources for and a climate in which they may appropriate an understanding of the Word of God, develop a philosophy of Christian ministry, and cultivate competencies necessary for skillful performance of age-level ministries.

Purpose: This program is designed to offer the student foundational courses in biblical studies, pastoral ministry, and Christian education. The student comes to understand the fundamentals of these disciplines so that he or she can apply truths from the Scriptures to life and ministry situations.
