MAKE YOUR DECISION NOW TO JOIN THOUSANDS OF MEN AND WOMEN WHO ARE COMPLETING THEIR COLLEGE AND SEMINARY DEGREES THROUGH THE INDEPENDENT, OFF-CAMPUS STUDY PROGRAM

The Theological Education Center uses the alternative, non-traditional, external, off-campus approach to the educational process. This approach is creative, innovative, and local-church related. The busy adult student has opportunity to complete degree studies without leaving his/her ministry and moving the family hundreds of miles to "attend" school. The TEC approach allows the school to actually come to the student.

Non-traditional education awards degrees on the basis of competencies and performance skills. It bases degree requirements on an agreement between the student and the faculty, aimed at helping the student achieve his/her career, personal, or professional goals. It believes the range of learning resources is limitless, from the daily newspaper to personal interviews; from audio lectures to computers to world travel. All of these are incorportated into the degree study program.

PLEDGE

The Theological Education Center as an evangelical Christian institution accepts the three ancient documents of the early church: The Apostles Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Athnansian Creed.

IN PARTICULAR WE AFFIRM:

... that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, inerrant, authoritative Word of God;

... that the one God exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are coequal in all attributes and are the same in the very essence of their nature;

... the deity, virgin birth, sinless life, miraculous ministry, vicarious death, bodily resurrection, ascension, present priestly ministry at the Father's right hand, and the powerful return of the Lord Jesus Christ to establish the Kingdom of God;

... that man was created by a direct act of God as recorded in the book of Genesis and that through his fall all men are accounted sinners in need of redemption;

... that salvation is by the grace of God through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, based upon His finished work at Calvary;

... the present ministry of the Holy Spirit in convincing the lost of their sin and need of salvation and equipping the saved for service within God's work;

... the resurrection of both the saved and the lost. The saved are resurrected unto life and the lost are resurrected unto eternal punishment;

... the second coming of Jesus Christ to establish the Kingdom of God;

... the spiritual unity of all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ.

ACADEMIC QUALITY

The Theological Education Center believes that the signatures of recognized academicians on student's papers, theses, and dissertations represent the best and most valid certification of a candidate's earned degree. In-other-words, TEC believes that a professor's signature testifying or confirming a person's expertness in a given field is of greater importance than the institution which awards the degree.

The Theological Education Center takes its place among quality schools of external study. TEC has in place a valid program of biblical and theological study for the motivated adult learner. You are invited to contact TEC today for assistance with your educational and degree goals.
